Adriano Galliani

Adriano Galliani was born in July 30th 1944 in Monza. Ha has three sons.
He started his career in 1975 as businessman of the company “Elettronica Industrale” producing instrument for reaching TV signals and he created channels for receiving foreign TV in Italy (TMC – TV, Svizzera Italiana, Telecapodistria).

In November 1979 Silvio Berlusconi submitted him the project of commercial TV. Adriano Galliani created a plan for a TV covering all national territory by ether. In November 1980 borned “Canale 5”. In 1982 he created “Italia 1” and in 1984 “Rete 4”.

In 1986 Adriano Galliani became Managing Director of “A.C. Milan”, a year later he became Vice President of the “Lega Calcio”.

He remained Managing Director of “Mediaset S.p.A.” and President and Managing Director of “R.T.I. S.p.A.” (Reti Televisive Italiane) – the Company allowing three channels: “Canale 5”, “ Italia 1” e”Rete 4” – until July 1998.

He was President of the “Lega Calco” from July 2002 till June 2006.

Adriano Galliani is now Vice Executive President and Managing Director of “A.C. Milan”, President of “Milan Entertainment s.r.l.”, President of “ Milan Real Estate S.p.A”., President of “Fondazione Milan Onlus” and President “di Categoria per la Serie A”.
